MediaHub is expanding its Asian content portfolio at ATF 2025 through a strategic partnership with KT Studio Genie, one of Korea’s top-tier production studios. The collaboration brings a robust slate of nine Korean dramas to international buyers, marking a significant step in MediaHub’s goal to connect local market needs with high-demand global storytelling.

KT Studio Genie, part of a major Korean telecommunications and media group, serves as a central production hub focused on a sustainable content cycle spanning planning, production, and distribution. Known for combining sharp writing with relatable emotional themes, the studio provides reliable storytelling with clear genre identities. This partnership opens a new channel for KT Studio Genie to reach a wider international client base while allowing MediaHub to offer a curated selection of premium Asian content.
A diverse slate for global audiences
The slate presented at ATF features a mix of genres including family drama, romance, legal thrillers, mystery, and fantasy. Key titles include Mother and Mom, Namib, Parole Examiner Lee, Delivery Man, Strangers Again, Unlock My Boss, Love is for Suckers, and Good Job.
A standout in the collection is Pale Moon (also referred to as Paper Moon), based on Mitsuyo Kakuta’s best-selling novel. Distinguished by its controlled pace and psychological focus, the series offers a visual identity and tone that differ from traditional Korean dramas, positioning it as a premium option for curated platforms seeking distinctive narratives.
The broader lineup capitalizes on the familiar strengths of K-content that resonate worldwide: warm family stories, romantic tension, and youthful energy. These titles offer flexibility for broadcasters, streamers, and in-flight operators looking for contemporary content with proven viewer engagement in Asian markets.
This Korean acquisition complements companygrowing library, which already includes Turkish originals, international scripted content, and factual programming. In 2023, the company began producing its own Turkish series, strengthening its dual role as both producer and distributor. By integrating these new Korean titles, MediaHub continues to provide partners with a varied content pool suitable for both linear and on-demand platforms.
MediaHub is presenting this expanded slate and discussing the new partnership at ATF from December 2-5 at booth K10/5.
