MipJunior’s 2025 edition will mark a new era for the international children’s content market, with a completely redesigned program, new venues, and the highly anticipated world premiere of Ki&Hi in the Panda Kingdom. The event will be held on October 11 and 12, prior to MIPCOM CANNES (October 13-16), and promises a profound transformation under the slogan “The Transformation Starts Here”.
For the first time, MipJunior is moving to the Palais des Festivals and incorporating the Gare Maritime as an exclusive space for networking meetings, adapting to the new challenges of the sector and focusing on user experience, content creation, and emerging business models.
Among the highlights is the global premiere of Ki&Hi in the Panda Kingdom, an anime series inspired by the books of creator Kevin Tran. Produced by Mediawan Kids & Family, Drawsome Studios, and Belvision, the production will premiere on Canal+ in fall 2025.
The official opening will be led by Kim Miller Olko, president of Toys“R”Us Studios, who will give a talk on the evolution of the brand and its AI-based content projects.
MipJunior 2025 expects to bring together more than 900 professionals from 60 countries, consolidating its role as the global epicenter of animation and children’s content.
