Mediawan & LEONINE Studios: together are stronger

Together at booth at P3.B38 at Palais des Festivals, Mediawan & LEONINE Studios bring to Cannes a full drama offering, recently added to their joint catalogue. The lineup includes comedy, thriller, politics and historical events.

Brought by the creatives of Schitt’s Creek comes Surrealestate (10x’60), where a team of real estate specialists investigate and correct the unconventional problems that make certain properties difficult to sell. They refer to these properties as “metaphysically engaged.” The 10-part series premiered in July on SYFY (USA) and stars Tim Rozon, Sarah Levy, Adam Korson, Maurice Dean Wint, Savannah Basley and Tennille Read.

Herzogpark (6x’60) is a juicy high-society dramedy starring an award-winning cast of some of Germany’s best acting talents: Heike Makatsch, Lisa Maria Potthoff, Felicitas Woll, Heiner Lauterbach, Jeanette Hain, Trystan Pütter, Lukas Spisser and Francis Fulton-Smith.

Lastly, Bonn (6x’60), based on historical events never seen on screen before. This 6-part political-thriller takes the audience back to the 1950s, where two rivalling secret service organizations battle it out for power and control in post-WWII Germany. The ensemble comprises an impressive cast of some of Germany’s most renowned talents: Mercedes Müller, Max Riemelt, Sebastian Blomberg, Martin Wuttke, Juergen Maurer, Katharina Marie Schubert, Inga Busch, Luise von Finckh, Julius Feldmeier and Johanna Gastdorf.
