NATPE Budapest 2026 will be held from 27 to 29 April at the InterContinental Budapest, with screenings and high-level sessions at the Hotel Dorothea. This edition introduces a strategic change to its calendar, moving from June to April in response to feedback from buyers and exhibitors seeking a more productive and less congested market.

The event maintains its regional focus, consolidating its position as the leading international television market for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), bringing together content creators, buyers, distributors and industry executives. NATPE Budapest 2026 will also once again recognize individuals who have excelled in creativity and leadership with NATPE Honors Europe, while offering key networking opportunities to form strategic alliances.
Registration is now open, and those interested can register on the event’s official website or contact Ben Soldinger for more information.
At the same time, NATPE announced the addition of two new members to its advisory board and the appointment of a new Executive Board, comprising leaders from Amazon MGM Studios, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, Versant, Sony, Apple TV+,Paramount, Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery, A&E/Lifetime and BBC Studios. This board will guide NATPE’s global strategy, strengthening its position as a global hub for content commerce and creative collaboration.
‘Our Board embodies the innovative, multi-platform spirit that defines today’s content landscape. Their vision will be instrumental as NATPE evolves into a true global hub for commerce and creativity,’ said Claire Macdonald, Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of NATPE.
As NATPE expands its international presence, NATPE Global will return to Miami from 4 to 6 February 2026, in conjunction with Realscreen Summit, consolidating an essential week for the global content industry and unscripted programming. The Budapest edition, which in 2025 brought together more than 750 delegates from 65 countries, continues to cement its status as the leading content market in Central and Eastern Europe.
