NATPE Budapest, the global business forum of reference for producers, buyers and distributors of content from Central and Eastern Europe, will take place from June 24-27, 2024 at the InterContinental Hotel in the Hungarian capital.
The content market, organized by Brunico Communications, will be attended by executives from more than 60 countries, hosting more than 375 top-tier buyers, and more than 120 exhibitors, production and distribution companies. The market will serve as a dynamic platform to network, explore new partnerships and discover the latest trends that will shape the future of television and content consumption.
Delegations from the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the Ukraine Content Club and Unifrance will attend the 2024 edition of Central and Eastern Europe’s most effective and reliable marketplace. Representatives from these organizations will join a wide range of industry professionals, marking a significant step towards fostering international collaborations.
Continuing NATPE Budapest‘s long tradition of celebrating new format concepts from the CEE region with the greatest international potential, the event will feature the Pitch & Play format competition.
Antenna Studios, Sony Pictures Television and ZDF Studios will host screenings. Keynote speakers will lead discussions on the latest trends shaping the future of TV and content consumption, as well as new networking opportunities.
The “CEE CEO Visions panel”, will be moderated by Stewart Clarke of Deadline, and will feature panelists Stella Litou, CEO of CME Adria, CEO of Pro Plus, and Chair of the Board of Directors of RTL Croatia; Ralf Bartoleit, CEO of bTV Media Group; Pavel Stantchev, CEO of TV2 Hungary and Planet TV Group Slovenia.
The panel “AI and Technology: Redefining Entertainment in a Connected World”, will feature Elif Dagdeviren, Managing Partner and Producer of Calinos Films, who will lead a presentation for the reflection of artificial intelligence as a powerful tool for shaping business.
Another panel will be “CEE Emerging Successes” with Georgi R. Chakarov, President and CEO of TVBIZZ Group. Georgi will once again present CEE’s successes of the year to NATPE Budapest attendees, focusing on the success factors of the new successes and how they might affect the programming strategies and acquisition policies of broadcasters in their respective markets in the future.
New this year, Realscreen is scheduling a special segment at the event dedicated to the unscripted genre, with panels and networking sessions highlighting opportunities for unscripted producers in CEE and beyond, including case studies of major formats currently traveling around the world, and valuable insights into the programming needs of key buyers.
