The “Next on Netflix Animation” session on Wednesday, June 11, will offer previews of upcoming content. Executive producer Eric Robles will present a first look at Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85, an animated series. Additionally, director Alex Woo, production designer Steven Pilcher, and VFX supervisor Nicola Lavender will debut footage from their upcoming film, In Your Dreams. This comedy adventure, animated by Kuku Studios and featuring voices from Jolie Hoang-Rappaport and Simu Liu, follows two siblings navigating their dreams. In Your Dreams is scheduled for release this Fall.
Annecy also hosts the world premiere of Fixed on Wednesday, June 11. This adult animated comedy from director Genndy Tartakovsky, a Sony Pictures Animation production, centers on a dog’s final 24 hours before a life-altering event. The film, which includes voice performances from Adam Devine and Idris Elba, is set to debut on August 13.
Further programming includes a masterclass on Thursday, June 12, with Raphael Bob-Waksberg, creator of BoJack Horseman. He will discuss his upcoming adult comedy series, Long Story Short, offering an early look at an episode. The series, produced by Tornante Television and ShadoMachine, chronicles the lives of the Schwooper siblings across different years.
Attendees can also gain insights into upcoming projects through Work-in-Progress and Making Of sessions. These include the animated adaptation of Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, featuring agent Sam Fisher, and Folivari’s French preschool series 7 Bears. Both titles are slated for Fall release.

This includes a range of content from preschool (like Dr. Seuss’s Horton!) to adult epics (Blue Eye Samurai Season 2), family adventures (Ghostbusters), and comedy (Haunted Hotel).
Finally, two Netflix titles, Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight and Devil May Cry, are participating in Annecy’s Official TV Films Competition. The animated Asterix & Obelix series, from TAT Productions, premieres April 30.
