OGM UNIVERSE: Turkish drama slate led by Ferda

OGM UNIVERSE, the global distribution arm powered by OGM Pictures, arrives at MIPCOM 2026 with a slate of Turkish dramas led by Ferda, a new 2026 production starring Onur Tuna and Özge Törer. Directed by Nezaket Coşkun and written by Deniz Akçay, the series follows Fikriye Dural, a young woman forced into marriage with a powerful landowner to settle her family’s debts. After escaping an attempt on her life, she returns to her hometown twelve years later under a new identity, determined to free her sisters and reclaim control of her destiny. Her return brings her into conflict with the family that once controlled her life, while an unexpected alliance with Kahraman Maranoğlu develops into a complicated love story.

The catalogue continues with Deep in Love, a sweeping drama set on the Black Sea coast and built around the generations-long conflict between the Koçari and Furtuna families. Starring Deniz Baysal, Ulaş Tuna Astepe, Burak Yörük and Ava Z. Yaman, the series combines forbidden love, family rivalry and an ancient curse, following a lost daughter whose return brings the two opposing families together once again. The title was launched internationally by OGM UNIVERSE as one of its new Turkish drama offerings and has been positioned around its cinematic scale and emotional storytelling.

Among the newer productions is The Gentleman, a 2026 drama directed by Zeynep Günay and Recai Karagöz, starring Mert Ramazan Demir, Melis Sezen, Salih Bademci and Mina Demirtaş. The story follows Yusuf, a young man from the outskirts of Istanbul whose life changes after becoming involved with a powerful family and a world of crime and class conflict. Years later, he returns under a new identity, driven by ambition, love and revenge. The slate also includes Reborn, starring Sibel Taşcıoğlu, Kerem Bürsin, Lizge Çömert, Deniz Çakır, Şerif Sezer and Okan Çabalar, in which a young woman receiving a donor heart becomes connected to the wealthy family of its previous owner.
