Olympusat at MIPCOM: AVOD platform and FAST Channels

Olympusat has been successfully expanding its acquisition and distribution unit, but in addition to that, it is making strong investments with its Free TV platform and in FAST channels.

Participating in MIPCOM, Aurora Mohler, Chief Content Officer, spoke with Prensario and said: ‘At Olympusat, we believe that television is still the most powerful medium for reaching and engaging audiences. We are investing in high-quality programming and globally expanding our Free TV platform and making our streaming channels available on all platforms so that our viewers can watch their favorite shows whenever and however they want’.

It is worth remembering that at the beginning of this year, the company diversified its business, offering FAST channels, and thus be able to cover the growing global demand.

Precisely, for this edition of MIPCOM, the company is promoting its FAST Spanish-language channels “Saber Más” and “Flash”.

‘Both offer a diverse range of programming that appeals to viewers of all ages and interests, and we’re constantly innovating to bring our viewers the best possible experience’, explained Mohler.

Saber Más features documentary films, signature series from around the world and films never before seen in the U.S., all in Spanish and HD. Currently it is available on Roku, FreeTV, LG, Plex, Distro, Hisense, and CanelaTV.

 On the other hand, Flash is a fun and refreshing music network that airs the latest and most popular music videos from Latin music’s biggest stars, larger-than-life idols, and up-and-coming sensations. And currently it is available on Roku, FreeTV, Samsung, LG, Plex, Distro, TCL, Hisense, CanelaTV, Freecast, Rakuten, Vizio.

Regarding Free TV, Olympusat AVOD platform which provides unique programming from around the world, the company is pushing it in the European market. ‘FreeTV is available on all streaming platforms across 17 regions in Latin America, and most recently in the United States. FreeTV is also available as a broadcast station serving the audience of Mexico City, Mexico as FreeTV 8.2. Now we are making it known in Europe’, she concluded.
