ORF Enterprise, the Austrian-based company, is taking part in MIPTV 2024 to present its upcoming season’s portfolio of top drama series, films and documentaries. In addition, on Monday, April 8, they are hosting the classic ‘ORF Apéro’ cocktail party at the Five Seas Hotel in Cannes, demonstrating their commitment to high quality content with exceptional production value.
Among its main titles are the premium documentaries «Nature UNIVERSAL», which follows the incredible diversity of nature with impressive top documentaries such as Wild Transylvania, The Real Jungle Book, Green Island, Grey Desert or Desert Phantoms.
In addition, the company led by Oliver Böhm, presents Kafka, the new series co-produced by ORF and ARD, will premiere in June 2024, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the death of the writer Franz Kafka. The miniseries is directed by accomplished filmmaker David Schalko(Braunschlag), who has also co-written the scripts with Daniel Kehlmann(Measuring the World). With invaluable input from Kafka biographer Reiner Stach, the series promises to be faithful to history. The exceptional cast includes Joel Basman in a transformative role as Kafka, along with David Kross as Max Brod, Nicholas Ofczarek as Hermann Kafka, and Liv Lisa Fries as Milena Jesenská.
Finally, they present Glambitious (10×45′). This is a comedy-drama series that follows two girls from modest backgrounds, who prefer to play it safe and cross paths with two girls from wealthy families, who are constantly being chased by trouble. Chaos ensues when the four girls’ worlds collide.
