One of the main titles in the ORF’s spring 2023 program highlights is ‘Days That Never Were’ (8×48’). This TV series, produced by MR-Frilm for ORF, ARD (MDR) and ARD Degeto, tells the story of a team of investigators that examines an accident that suddenly turns into a murder case, and the friendship of four women who have known each other since their elite school days is put to test.

‘Azra’ (90’), a crime film produced by E&A for ORF, tells Moritz Eisner and Bibi Fellner’s mission: they should gather evidence against the criminal head Tariel Tasic, who is in jeopardy when their informant, Azra Dogan, fails to show up, leading to a dangerous search that pits the investigators against Tasic’s organization and their own moral dilemmas.
‘Soko Linz’ (26×45’) is a TV Series, produced by Gebhardt Productions for ORF and ZDF, and tells the story of a Special Commission, that investigates cross-border cases in the Austria-Germany-Czech Republic border triangle with the help of a team of dedicated investigators, including Chief Inspector Johanna «Joe» Haizinger and Chief Commissioner Ben Halberg. Together, they use their skills and charm to investigate everything, from Linz’s up-and-coming technology sector to the homeless scene, between witness protection programs and the hunt for serial killers.

‘A Raven’s Tale – Mystic Czechia’ (52×45’) is a co-production by ORF, NDR, ARTE G.E.I.E, Česká televize and ScienceVision in association with ORF-Enterprise. This wildlife and nature production shows a magical journey through the enchanted landscapes and castles of the Czech Republic, where the natural world and fairy tales intersect, showcasing the region’s unique wildlife. The film combines the captivating storytelling of fairy tales with award-winning wildlife cinematography to create an engaging story of good versus evil.

‘Life on the Wing – Miracle of Bird Migration’ (52×45’) is a co-production by ORF, ARTE, NDR Doclights and PKM Film in association with ORF Enterprise. This film shows the wonder of bird migration from a new perspective, highlighting the incredible journeys and adaptations of millions of birds as they traverse continents and natural resources. The film centers around Seewinkel in Austria, a vital junction for hundreds of bird species on their travels between Europe, Africa, and Asia.
