The Argonauts, children’s fiction
With a renewed slate, RTVE arrives at MIPTV to show its novelties, such as the children’s fiction The Argonauts, co-produced with Portocabo for the Clan channel, this being the first children’s series created in-house for the channel.
Inspired by great classics like The Goonies, The Argonauts brings together a gang of five friends who will live a different summer, while they will be involved in a great adventure facing dangers and discovering the value of friendship.
They are also presenting a new season of the fiction made in collaboration with Grupo Ganga, HIT, which in its fourth season follows its protagonist. A maverick educator, who now needs help with his addictions. The series continues to enjoy great success in Spain.
Meanwhile, La Caza, returns with a new season that takes place in the fictional town of ‘Frontera de Guadiana’, a small town divided by the riverbed whose life is disturbed, and has been recreated in locations in the province of Huelva , such as Sanlúcar de Guadiana, Ayamonte, Isla Cristina, Lepe or El Granado.
In addition, in the documentary genre, the company highlights 10,000 Days, a documentary series directed by Carlos Franganillo, which analyzes in four chapters the hopes and threats that the changes that are to come until 2050 entail.
