Sato: action and beloved stories

Sato Company is attending MIPCOM, where it is promoting a diverse and strong action slate, headed by the series The Legend of Bruce Lee, combined with award-nominated series such as Heartland.

 

With more than 25 international awards, in addition to another 64 nominations, Heartland is one of the most beloved series by audiences worldwide. Created by Murray Shostak, the show tells inspiring stories that appeal to audiences of all ages, making the series one of the most suitable for the whole family.

The program already has 15 seasons, and in Latin America, from 1st to 6th are available on Amazon Prime Video, while from 7th to 15th, on Netflix in Brazil.Distribution in the country is by Sato Company.

Inspired by the Canadian book series by Lauren Brooke, the series stars sisters Amy (Amber Marshall) and Lou Fleming (Michelle Morgan), who live on a horse ranch with their grandfather Jack Bartlett (Shaun Johnston). The series was one of the 5 most watched streaming in the US in 2021, with more than 20 million minutes watched.

2023 will mark the 50th anniversary of Bruce Lee’s death, bringing even more relevance and visibility to the series The Legend of Bruce Lee.According to the CSM survey held on 26 October 2008, the first 30 episodes of the series received viewership ratings above 10.35%.

The series has been watched by over 400 million viewers in China, making it the most-watched Chinese television drama series of all time, as of 2017. The show consists of a 50 episodes TV series, distribution in Brazil is by Sato Company. Also, distributor is offering Bruce Lee classics in 4K, including four outstanding movies of this legend, like The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, The Way of the Dragon, Game of Death (1 and 2).

Lastly, The Roundup, the biggest box office success of Korea will be released in Brazil and Latin America by Sato Company in partnership with Paris Filmes, BF and Corazon Filmes. Ma Dong-seok, known for films such as The Eternals, is the protagonist, in which he plays a police officer with unorthodox methods, who manages, in the end, to carry out his mission, although it ends up gaining some enemies within the corporation. Now, he’s on the trail of a dangerous killer.

And Deemo, based on the hugely successful mobile game worldwide that has over 35 million downloads.6his anime-style movie tells the story of the titular Deemo, a mysterious character that plays the piano in a castle. One day, amnesiac girl Alice comes falling from the sky, which starts the story.The movie will premiere on November 3 in Mexican theaters and is being distributed by Sato Company.
