
The Jim Henson Company has tapped Shirley Bowers to join the company as VP of Global Distribution. In her position, Bowers is responsible for all content sales and distribution, driving revenue from the company’s expansive library. She also develops co-production partnerships across international markets that maximize both reach and brand integrity. The announcement was made today by Chris Lytton, President and COO, to whom Bowers reports.

She has a proven track record of working with respected properties that can respond to emerging trends while maintaining a deep connection to their brand value’, said Lytton.
Bowers has over 20 years of experience in sales, co-financing, and acquisitions working across a wide range of genres and territories. Prior to joining The Jim Henson Company, she held senior distribution positions at Fremantle, Red Arrow Studios, Fox International Channels and National Geographic.
