SIC: driving Portuguese audiovisual content around the world

SIC is going through one of its most dynamic and strategic moments. In 2025, the Portuguese company consolidated its international presence with new distribution models and high-profile alliances. Among the milestones is Vitória, an adaptation of the Turkish format Gülperi, developed together with Disney+ and Opto, a project that symbolizes SIC’s commitment to multi-platform innovation and reinforces the global projection of its fiction.

The company also expanded its catalogue on Prime Video with the seventh season of The Good Girls Club, Rebelde Way and the highly anticipated blockbuster Red Moon: New Generation, an exclusive co-production between OPTO SIC and Prime Video that revisits a television classic with international ambition.

SIC also renewed its historic alliance with Globo, which includes new remakes of iconic telenovelas, strengthening a relationship marked by successes such as the Emmy-winning Laços de Sangue.

In distribution, the company achieved sales to territories such as Bulgaria, Turkey, Panama, Canada, and the United States, demonstrating the universality of its content.Looking ahead to 2026, SIC will continue to invest in original and adapted stories, with a global outlook and new fiction and documentary projects. Its participation in the Tribeca Festival Lisbon reaffirms its role as a cultural driving force and promoter of Portuguese audiovisual content around the world.
