SledovaniTV, the OTT service provider, has integrated Prima Group’s Prima+ streaming platform as part of a launch of four new content bundles. This addition aims to combine linear television offerings with access to video-on-demand content.
The inclusion of the Prima+ service in most SledovaniTV packages grants users access to previews, a video library, and original productions. ‘The partnership with the Prima Group is an important step forward for us. Thanks to this agreement, we can jointly meet the needs of our viewers, which are increasingly moving towards a combination of linear and VOD content’, explained Lukáš Pazourek, Marketing Director, SledovaniTV.
Jan Maxa, Director for the VOD Segment at Prima Group, also commented on the expanded availability of their streaming service, stating, ‘we are happy about our long-term cooperation with SledovaniTV and are pleased to be able to expand the availability of our prima+ streaming service with another distribution channel’. The Prima+ video library will be accessible to users in Light and Premium options, depending on the chosen package.
The structure of SledovaniTV‘s overall television service offerings has also been modified. Users can now select from four main packages, labeled S, M, L, and XL. These can be further augmented with three additional thematic packages, providing a clearer and more adaptable structure to viewer preferences.
Pazourek highlighted the content diversity in the new offerings. ‘In our new packages, every member of the family will find something for themselves. From children’s content, through films and documentaries to sports. We believe that the offer we have presented together with prima+ is the key to the satisfaction of our customers’, he added.
SledovaniTV offers more than 170 TV channels and over 120 radio stations. The service provides features such as pausing and rewinding TV broadcasts, and allows for up to 7 days of catch-up viewing8. Users can also switch between language tracks, subtitles, and different broadcast qualities from SD to 4K9. Additionally, SledovaniTV offers the option to record broadcasts for 6 months, with up to 900 hours of storage space available.
