Smilehood, the company behind Plim Plim, is taking a new step in its international expansion with the start of production on a series of 78 episodes, each lasting 5 minutes, directed by Damián Soriano and supported by a team of international scriptwriters. The new proposal incorporates improvements in character design, environments, technology and narrative, consolidating a more ambitious and updated Plim Plim universe. The first episodes will be available in the last quarter of 2026.

Plim Plim has become one of the world’s leading children’s brands. On YouTube, its Spanish-language channel is number one in the Kids Entertainment & Animation category and ranks fifth among 48.2 million creators globally, accumulating 17.2 billion views and 41.9 million subscribers in the last twelve months, according to Tubular. The brand’s expansion reflects sustained growth in Latin America, with Mexico and Brazil as its main audiences, while the United States leads in terms of revenue. In addition, the brand has gained ground in Spain, Italy and Indonesia, consolidating its international reach.

Plim Plim has become a comprehensive franchise that connects with children through multiple formats. Its live experiences, such as Plim Plim en Vivo! Energía Musical, brought together more than 120.000 spectators in 70 cities across 10 countries. In the musical arena, it has surpassed 68.1 million listeners on platforms such as Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music. Its app, Plim Plim a Jugar, has already been downloaded more than 447.000 times in Latin America, offering interactive games that encourage creativity and learning. The brand is also expanding its universe to toys, books and educational products in partnership with Bandai, Arbrex and Penguin Random House.
