SPI International, the Canal+ company, expands its range with French OTT service Molotov, owned by Fubo, the live sports TV streaming platform. In addition to the existing agreement, which includes the Gametoon channel, two new channels, Fast&FunBox and FightBox, are introduced in Molotov’s expanded basic package.

Georgina Twiss, MD for Western Europe and Africa at SPI International, commented: ‘We are excited to further strengthen our relationship with Molotov by introducing Fast&FunBox and FightBox to French audiences. These offerings, along with Gametoon, are aimed at MMA, extreme sports and e-sports enthusiasts, in harmony with Fubo’s mission to deliver dynamic sports entertainment to audiences around the world. With SPI International’s channels on Molotov, viewers can enjoy a wide range of sports content, including live fight dates and breathtaking adrenaline-pumping sports’.

Fast&FunBox celebrates adrenaline-fueled sports, offering programming and competitions in a variety of disciplines, including auto racing, motocross, snowboarding and skateboarding. FightBox is dedicated to combat sports and offers a selection of exclusive content, live events and weekly programming in mixed martial arts, boxing, wrestling, karate, kickboxing, taekwondo and other disciplines.

Grégory Samak, CEO of Molotov said: ‘Fubo, our parent company, has built a successful business in several countries following the sports entertainment model, and we plan to expand Molotov’s offering in the same way. As a player in MMA, extreme sports and e-sports, SPI International is an obvious partner for Molotov as we delve deeper into the sport.’

E-sports enthusiasts can also dive into Gametoon, Molotov‘s Gamer Zone package, for the latest news from the world of gaming.
