TCCF 2025 Opens with Record Global Participation and Expanding Content Opportunities

The 2025 Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF), Asia’s leading content industry event, officially opened on November 4 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, setting new benchmarks for international participation and prize value. The market reinforces its growing status as a key global hub for content exchange and co-production.

This year’s edition gathered a record number of industry professionals, producers, and technology innovators from across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, underlining Taiwan’s role as a creative bridge between the region and the world. The opening ceremony featured representatives from leading institutions, including France’s CNC President Gaëtan Bruel, Film Development Council of the Philippines Chairman Jose Javier Reyes, and Korean producer Kim Eun-ji (Culinary Class Wars), among others.

Minister of Culture Li Yuan highlighted Taiwan’s growing reputation for visual innovation and technology-driven creativity, noting that the country has become France’s top partner in the Asian XR sector. He emphasized that, since the creation of the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) six years ago, cultural content has become a national strategic industry—strengthening the country’s audiovisual ecosystem and expanding its reach to global audiences.

TAICCA Chairperson Sue Wang remarked that audience behaviors are rapidly evolving toward multi-platform and personalized experiences, fueling demand for immersive and interactive content. She added that cross-industry IP development—linking film, TV, gaming, and music—is now central to new global collaborations.

TCCF 2025 once again raises the bar in scale and ambition. The TCCF Pitching program received over 700 project submissions from 44 countries, competing for 41 awards and a record-breaking NT$10.1 million prize pool, making it the largest open pitching platform in Asia. Meanwhile, TCCF Market hosts 118 exhibitors from around the world, including national pavilions from France and, for the first time, South Korea, represented by a delegation from KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency).

In parallel, the TCCF Forum will feature 25 international speakers across 12 sessions, including Golden Globe-winning producer Janet Yang, President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, who will deliver the closing address.

Running through November 7, TCCF 2025 features four key segments—Market, Pitching, Forum, and Showcase—bringing together global professionals to explore co-production, distribution, and innovation opportunities in the evolving content landscape.
