The Kitchen, international leading company in dubbing and post production services, is betting on the CEE market, as an important source of new opportunities. It has held studios in Budapest for the last 5 years, and was present at Natpe Budapest to stress its local touch.
Julie Beneteau, head of European operations: ‘We are trying to create a business with Eastern European languages. We have studios in Budapest and they are very capable. We are also accredited in TPN. So, we are expecting that we will have a lot more business with our European groups’.
Gabor Somogyi, director of The Kitchen Hungary: ‘I see the market more or less the same as last year but the main message from my side is that the first market in 2019 was, I think the strongest, because there was a big presence from China, India and foreign companies It’s very different now, it probably took a hit after Covid and those companies are not coming back’.
