The Kitchen, the entertainment industry’s only Emmy® Award-winning studio for language translation, dubbing, and subtitling services, is actively participating in MIPCOM 2024 in Cannes. Known for its comprehensive range of post-production services, the company is emphasizing both traditional offerings such as dubbing and subtitling, along with newer services aimed at enhancing accessibility, including audio description and sign language interpretation.
Deeny Kaplan, Executive Vice President of The Kitchen, is attending the event with the company’s global team. Kaplan highlighted the company’s approach, stating: “We focus on both services and added value. Our expertise helps clients make better decisions for successful localization. We’re skilled at taking global products to local markets. Each client has unique needs and requires different combinations.”
Artificial intelligence (AI) is also a growing trend in the industry, Kaplan mentioned. While AI integration is in its early stages, The Kitchen currently uses three AI platforms to support back-office operations. “At the moment, AI is effective for tasks that the client doesn’t see, but as it evolves, we’ll stay at the forefront of the trends,” Kaplan added.
The Kitchen’s presence at MIPCOM reflects its commitment to innovation and its leadership in the localization industry, helping international clients adapt content for different markets with precision and cultural sensitivity.
