TIS: biographical stories, drama and science fiction for the international market

TIS presents a varied selection of scripted and unscripted titles, combining biographical stories, drama, sports and science fiction. At the center of the catalogue is BOSÉ, which tells the life of Spanish pop star Miguel Bosé through ten of his most iconic songs, tracing his career from his first hit in 1977 to the major concert held in Cuba in 2011. The series also explores the more controversial and personal chapters of his life, including his relationships, drug use and his legal dispute with former partner Ignacio Palau over their children.

The catalogue also features the fourth season of EL CAPO, returning to the story of one of its most notorious characters. After defeating transnational mafias and confronting the DEA and FBI, the Capo faces a new conflict following the murder of his grandson and the breakdown of his family. His enemy Medusa forces him to confront unresolved elements of his past as he embarks on a new fight for revenge.

Football takes center stage in ADRIANO IMPERADOR, a docuseries about Brazilian football legend Adriano. From his childhood in Vila Cruzeiro to his rise as an international star, the production looks beyond his achievements on the pitch to explore fame, money, the media, personal struggles and his decision to remain close to the community where he grew up.

TÚ REINA moves into drama, following an heir to Barranquilla’s elite who leaves his family behind and begins a new life as Alondra, a trans woman determined to shine at Carnival. Her new beginning is interrupted when she is kidnapped, leading to an unexpected bond with her captor that could become her path to survival and freedom.

Rounding out the selection is FUTURO DESIERTO, a science-fiction story set in a near future where androids known as INBAs are being introduced into human society. Alex, a psychologist living in Mexico with his children, is tasked with assessing whether the machines can coexist with people. The situation changes when María, an android created by his late wife to replace her as a mother, begins to develop emotions of her own, raising questions about technology, family and what defines humanity.
