TV Azteca: Dramas and succesful formats

With fiction shows and successful formats, TV Azteca comes to MIPTV 2023 to highlight its catalog. Among its formats, The Academy is one of the shows that are pushing in the market.

After successful audience numbers in Mexico, and after winning the Produ Awards last year, The Academy, the format that was created by the Italian producer Giorgio Aresu and produced by TV Azteca and Nostromo Producciones for Azteca Uno, had its thirteenth season last year, repeating the success of previous seasons.

The company also highlights the cycle that presents supernatural and paranormal stories from Latin America, Extranormal, which in its eighth season still conquering audiences in the United States, Guatemala, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Honduras, Costa Rica, Peru and Colombia, countries where the series became a reference in the genre.

Meanwhile, produced by Rafael Uriostegui, A Day to Live is also part of his catalog. The title is an anthology thriller series that presents the stories of men and women of different ages who apparently have a good time in their lives but are visited by death who warns them that they have 24 hours to solve what they have pending.

And finally, Vivir a destiempo, a story that follows Paula Duarte, who has been married to Rogelio Bermúdez for 22 years, a marriage that has had many bad moments. Rogelio, a macho, dominant, selfish and arrogant man, was in charge of annulling Paula, practically from the moment they got married.
