This year, TV Azteca is emphasizing its major prime-time premieres in Mexico, as well as its newly structured distribution and international alliances, now led by Jesica Stescobich.

Adrián Ortega Echegoyen, CCO, commented: ‘We are entering 2025 with strong momentum, featuring new fiction premieres and seasons, successful entertainment formats, and an expanded portfolio of FAST channels, with two new additions. We have high-quality, innovative content to offer our international partners, both in programming and through Azteca Internacional, our network’.
A video presentation highlighted key productions, including Cautiva por Amor, a 70-episode series; the third season of Dra. Lucía, a major hit in Mexico with 50 episodes per season; Lotería del Crimen, an anthology series now entering its fourth season; and Un Día para Vivir, another successful anthology series entering its fifth season, following in the footsteps of Lo Que Callamos las Mujeres and other reflective series that are both commercially successful and thought-provoking. In entertainment, Master Chef, Exatlón, and Survivor remain key pillars in their latest editions.
Stescobich told PRENSARIO: ‘As you can see, we have a wealth of new content, but we are also enhancing our library by remastering our classic series in HD. Additionally, our FAST channel lineup now includes eight channels, six existing and two new ones: FIA, dedicated to news, and Arte & Cultura, showcasing Mexico’s rich traditions, including cuisine and local heritage. Sports play a crucial role in this new phase, with a strong focus on Azteca Deportes and top live broadcasts. We are also strengthening our international sales team, welcoming back Berta Orozco to develop the Asian and African markets. Everything is aligning in our favor’.
