Two European co-productions were the protagonists on the second day on MIPJunior

Two large screenings were seen on the second day of MIPJunior 2023, which were promoted by public television stations.


The first of them was Said and Anna, a live-action preschool series (3-6), produced by Phanta Basta! (Netherlands), along with Indi Film for EO (NPO Zappelin – Netherlands), SWR (KiKa – Germany), and VRT (Ketnet – Belgium), which has Incredible Film as an international sales agent.


Evelien Bloemena, Scripted series buyer at NPO, said that the series seeks to promote values such as friendship, racial equality and the importance of making mistakes in children’s growth: ‘It is a co-production that perfectly represents what we want to expose: diversity and respect’.


Meanwhile, the French co-production Once Upon a Time…The Objects from Procidis Studio with SAMKA (France) and HOT (Israel), in association with France tv, RTS (Swiss), and TV5MONDE (France), which is also looking for buyers at this MIPJunior edition.
