The Asian TV Forum & Market (ATF) hosts a new virtual pavilion including 26 companies from France that are taking meetings through ATF Online+. Targeting more than 1,000 buyers from the APAC region, the French companies are offering drama, animation, documentaries and formats, among other genres.
Sarah Hemar, Deputy Managing Director of UniFrance in charge of Audiovisual and Digital, commented: ‘Attending the ATF this year is a highlight of our year as Asia is an up-and-coming region and the world’s third biggest market for animation. Following our collaboration with the French Embassy in China in October in Beijing, where we presented 15 animation series to Chinese buyers, we are delighted to work with the Alliance Française of Singapore this year to present “The Night of the French TV Series”, our first event dedicated to promoting the diversity of French mass production to the general public’.
“The Night of the French TV Series” is part of the vOilah ! France Singapore Festival and is co-presented with the French Embassy. It is the first event in Singpore dedicated to promoting the diversity of French mass production to the general public. During the three “Series” evenings, a selection of the best French productions of 2020 and 2021 will be screened.
