France TV Distribution is hosting the world premiere of the first episode of Vendetta at the Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Le Havre.
The miniseries, a 6×52′ co-production by France TV for France 2, was produced by Marco Cherqui of CPB Films. Directed by Ange Basterga, the series was written by Basterga, Emmanuelle Michaux, and Pierre-Marie Mosconi.
The drama follows Anto, a Parisian police officer with Corsican roots, who as a child swore to break the cycle of revenge that has plagued his family for generations. As he prepares to return to his homeland to take over the family vineyard, he is ambushed, his father is killed, and he falls into a deep coma. He awakens a decade later to find his teenage son, Santu, is obsessed with vengeance. The series explores how far Anto will go to protect his son and reclaim his life. France tv distribution is launching the series for international distribution at the Series Mania Forum.
