‘Eight years ago, when English dubbing was limited to children’s animation, VoxxStudios opened its doors in Los Angeles with the audacious project of creating a hub where foreign talent, flocking to pursue their Hollywood dream, could work in their mother tongue’, initiated Danubia Farias, managing director.

She continued: ‘We trained engineers, actors, directors and producers who shared our passion and mission. Initially, we had two recording studios, one for English and one for Brazilian Portuguese. Over the next two years, we added eight recording studios. Hundreds of LA actors and technicians found a home at Voxx where together we produce thousands of hours in neutral Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, and even Armenian’.

Today, VOXX Studio is stronger than ever: its 10,000-square-foot facility offers 11 recording studios for dubbing, ADR, original voiceovers for animation, vocals, and instrumental recordings; stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and Atmos mixing (including surround sound for music mixing); and a forum available for concerts, screenings, professional workshops, seminars and recordings of programs that can be broadcast live through social networks or platforms. ‘We have expanded our strong global network of partner studios, giving us more than ever the ability to have “One Voice For Any Language”, underlined Farias.

Farias started at Voxx as a beginner script supervisor to become one of our best producers before joining a multinational dubbing company. She has returned to the Studio, drawing on her experience, to guide us in expanding into new markets. ‘Her positive and strategic thinking, her excellent team leadership and a strong emphasis on organizational structure are already improving client relationships, delivering a higher quality product and building a Voxx Studios for the future’, emphasized Andrei Zinca, CEO.

For now, under her command, Voxx is expanding the portfolio of languages in which it dubs for the platforms, incorporating those from Eastern Europe. ‘We are proud and grateful for the quality of programs that our clients entrust to us for important pan-regional channels in Latin America, both in Spanish and Portuguese. We continue to grow with our language package offerings, both in dubbing and subtitling, supporting our clients in a variety of territories in Europe and Asia. And we love hosting many celebrities in our studios whose voices bring to life new and original anime and animation series for the US and international markets’, concluded Farias.
