WildBrain is promoting at MIPCOM and MIPJunior 2025 as the global distributor for the 2D-animated preschool series Zip and the Tiny Sprouts. The Australian-produced series from Tiny Souls Media is available to buyers as a key title in company’s animation slate. The show recently won the Kidscreen Award 2025 for Best Web/App Series – Original.

The series (52 x 7′) is an edutainment title rooted in developmental psychology research and early-learning curricula. Each episode uses original music and stories to explore crucial themes such as patience, perseverance, and gratitude.
The show is set in the whimsical Harmony Hollow, where the main characters—Zip, Aria, Riff, and Hum—demonstrate compassion, courage, and creativity while also showing their own challenges as they learn and grow as a team.
Katie Wilson, VP Global Sales & Acquisitions at WildBrain, praised the production, stating it ‘blends creativity, compassion and developmental value’. Wilson noted that the show’s ‘thoughtful approach to storytelling and fresh, fun songs make it a standout offering for buyers at MIPCOM and MIPJunior seeking high-quality preschool content’.
Shadi Toloui-Wallace, founder of Tiny Souls Media, explained her personal connection to the show’s creation, sharing that she ‘created Zip and the Tiny Sprouts to capture the messy, wonderful journey of growing up’. She emphasized the core message of the series: ‘it’s about giving children tools to learn, grow and understand who they are in a larger social world’.
The production features an experienced creative team, including International Emmy Award-winning producer Peter Johnston (Doodles) and Kyle Logan (Hip Hop Howls) serving as writer and director. Chris Bennett (Bluey) served as animation director and writer, with Lacey Mason (Sesame Workshop) as Head of Development and Production and Zachary Stuckelman, Ph.D, as Head of Research and Curriculum. WildBrain is presenting the series at the MIPJunior screenings and within the Canada Pavilion.
