The event, held from June 9 to 12, 2025, at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel, hosts over 1,000 participants, including more than 200 buyers and 100 exhibitors, organized by Mediavision.

Guy Bisson from Ampere Analysis presented data indicating a decline in global content production post-peak and discussed potential threats from U.S. protectionist policies. His session, "Content Trends in the Era of Trump: Protectionism, Production and International Markets," addressed the potential impact of tariffs on overseas production incentives on Europe's role in global media supply chains. ‘Some European countries with their own levies and quotas have demonstrated more resilience during the recent downturn compared to countries without such measures, in fact, some form of controlled protectionism may actually stabilize domestic markets’, said. |

Also, Globo presented its international content portfolio. Rodrigo Nascimento, Head of International Business for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, discussed telenovela titles and plans for a new business hub in Portugal. The exec stated, ‘We feel great joy and a deep privilege in telling stories for the world. Our goal is simple but powerful: to bring happiness to people’.

They also addressed challenges related to piracy and cross-platform competition.

Discussions throughout the event covered the shift towards a more cost-sensitive content economy, the increasing importance of localization and co-productions, the expansion of AI, and the challenges posed by protectionist trade policies for international content ecosystems. Networking opportunities were available for executives to connect and prepare for market activities.
