The event's consistent performance highlights its role in the global industry. In 2023, sales of French audiovisual programs reached €203.4 million, marking the third time in 30 years sales have surpassed the €200 million threshold. Drama continues to be the leading export genre, accounting for 36.6% of total sales. While animation saw an 11.2% decline in sales in 2023, it remains the second-largest export genre.
This edition event kicks off this evening with a reception hosted by the Mairie du Havre at MuMA, the Musée d’Art Moderne André Malraux. A second evening event will take place on Wednesday at the Palais Bénédictine in Fécamp, hosted by the Région Normandie.
The video library at the Carré des Docks opens exclusively for buyers tomorrow at morning. This viewing platform, which includes content across fiction, animation, documentary, live performance, and entertainment, is accessible both on-site and online for executives.
