French studio Xilam Animation presents Piggy Builders, a new addition to its preschool content slate. The series, comprising 52 episodes of 11 minutes each, uses CG animation and follows three piglet siblings—Cornelia, Cesar, and Charlie—who live in Fine Forest. The trio, despite their differences, shares a love for building, problem-solving, and helping their community. However, their success in projects often hinges on learning to work together, as they sometimes face humorous setbacks when their teamwork falters.
Created by Marie Manand, Julien Hazebroucq, and Emmanuelle Leleu, and directed by Romain Villemaine, Piggy Builders promotes themes of creativity, teamwork, and family values, making it particularly suitable for preschool audiences. Marc du Pontavice, Founder and CEO of Xilam Animation, emphasized the importance of these elements, stating, ‘as we continue expanding our offering of CG content, Piggy Builders makes the perfect addition to our slate of proprietary content as it brings so many endearing characters and humorous stories of teamwork, while also highlighting the importance of family’.
The show has already garnered significant attention, with national broadcasters France Télévisions, BBC, and ZDF on board as partners, reflecting its broad appeal. Xilam expects Piggy Builders to charm audiences worldwide when it debuts in Q3 2025.
