The last three years have been transformative for Banijay Kids & Family, which is now home to six production labels across the UK, France and Italy. Producing world-class animation and live-action series for leading global platforms and local broadcasters alike, the company is home to an impressive slate of titles, which is represented by distribution arm, Zodiak Kids & Family Distribution.
“I’m delighted to be back at ATF for a full, in-person event this December,” said Grace Lee, from G&KO Entertainment, who represents Zodiak Kids & Family Distribution for all territories in Asia. “We have an incredibly strong position in the market with a brilliantly diverse range of shows. Since we were last here, Banijay Kids & Family has expanded its portfolio with some fantastic acquisitions and launched a raft of new, high-end, original series.”
Alongside Zodiak Kids & Family France, Zodiak Kids & Family Productions UK, Monello Productions and Tiger Aspect Kids & Family, earlier this year, Banijay Kids & Family acquired UK drama specialists, Kindle Entertainment, and Italian Production Company and animation focused creative hub, Movimenti Production. Of the acquisitions, Benoît Di Sabatino, CEO, Banijay Kids & Family said, “Kindle Entertainment and Movimenti Production are complimentary additions to the family, both bringing their own unique expertise, with consistent track records in delivering premium shows. From pre-schoolers to the whole household, we are proud to offer a wide range of live and animated premium shows to broadcasters all around the world.”
Banijay Kids & Family strives to offer a wide range of series to broadcasters and platforms, aimed at kids, young adults and family audiences. Amongst the key titles for the company going into ATF, are the 3D animated preschool series based on the beloved and iconic elephant Mumfie; Silverpoint, the gripping sci-fi, live-action series for teens and tweens; Topo Gigio, the popular 2D animated adventure series following the well-known mouse; new offbeat, laugh-out-loud animated comedy, The Unstoppable Yellow Yeti; award-winning animation, Super Agent Jon Le Bon!; and the charming, animated time-hopping series When I Was Your Age.
