Project materials, video pitches and interviews with the experts are available to potential partners, contributors, and the general public in the UCC screening room on C21Media website.
UCC documentary slate will also be announced during the panel. The documentary strand will follow the same procedure as the drama series slate, with the projects being vetted by experienced international experts before the finalists are revealed to the general public.
The backers of all UCC projects are leading Ukrainian media companies: FILM.UA Group, Starlight Media, 1+1 media, and Suspilne Ukraine. Company representatives are in town to take meetings with potential partners and supporters of the initiative with the view of greenlighting the three winning projects in the upcoming months.
The Ukrainian stand at Riviera 7 (R7L19) will host a delegation of over 25 of the country’s media business professionals, representing key media companies, unions, and initiatives that, in addition to UC.GC and Ukraine Content Club, include United Broadcasters Network, Ukrainian Motion Picture Association, and others.
Overall, Ukraine’s participation in MIPTV is poised to highlight the country’s resilience and creativity in overcoming the hardest challenges and underscore the immense potential of its vibrant media industry, as well as establish new opportunities for international collaboration.
‘We are immensely grateful to the MIP Markets organizers for their unwavering support, warm hospitality, and extensive range of opportunities provided to Ukrainians for the third consecutive time. In these hard times, having strong partners and friends is invaluable, and we are fortunate to have the largest international content market and tradeshow backing the country’s entire industry. This is truly impressive and priceless, and we cannot thank MIP enough for their continued commitment to fostering sustainable growth and development in Ukraine’, said Kateryna Udut, CEO of Media Resources Management, coordinator of the UC.GC and UCC initiatives.
