The leading independent German film and television group, presented the first exclusive images of its big upcoming releases. One of these is La Storia, produced by Picomedia with France’s Thalie Images in co-production with Beta and in collaboration with RAI Fiction.
Beta Film held the traditional dinner at the Colombe d’Or this Sunday, April 16th, where personalities from the industry attended, as well as two of the stars of their upcoming productions. Accompanied by his team, the CEO of the mother company in Germany, Jan Mojto, showed the first images of La Storia, Ride of the Raven, and Hudson and Rex.
‘We are very proud to present the first images of our new projects, and in particular very happy with the result achieved with ‘La Storia’. This series is based on the best-selling novel by Elsa Morante: it is one of the most iconic and critically acclaimed Italian novels of the 20th century, and very important for people of my generation,” said Jan Mojto.
Other of the titles presented by Beta Film was Rise of the Raven, a new high-level series from the acclaimed Canadian/Hungarian producer Robert Lantos, who assured that this production is very similar to The Games of Thrones but without dragons.
Finally, the team led by Mojto presented the trailer of the new season of Hudson and Rex, the series that follows a criminal police detective who comes across a German shepherd dog and decides to rescue it. The surprise of the evening was the presence of the protagonists John Reardon and the dog, Diesel.
