Izzet Pinto, CEO and Founder of Global Agency, commented on news about his latest project in an interview with FormatBiz during NEM Dubrovnik 2024. The executive revealed that a top-secret format will be unveiled at the upcoming Mipcom in October and referred to it as one of his most ambitious projects.
‘Since the creation of Global Agency, my biggest passion has been creating my own formats’, Pinto said to the media. ‘We have had good luck with selling formats from independent creators, like Shopping Queen, which has aired 2,000 episodes on M6 in France and 3,000 on Vox TV in Germany. But as a creative person, my dream since 2010 has been to create a format that will be a mega hit’.
According to the CEO, the launch (which will also include a screening and a pitch) will take place on Sunday, October 20, at 3 p.m. in Saint-Tropez, with helicopter invitations to attend a «VIP lunch’. ‘The pitch will be made on-site, and whoever commits first will be on board. It’s a very unique technique’, he highlighted.
Over the years, the executive has developed 11 formats, including Keep Your Light Shining and Good Singers. ‘The best we’ve reached so far with my own format is 12 editions of ‘Keep Your Light Shining.’ It’s a success, but my biggest dream is to have a format that goes beyond 50 territories’. he added.
