Lionsgate, known for its diverse portfolio of productions, introduces Mistletoe Murders at MIPCOM 2024. This six-episode holiday-themed murder mystery series was acquired recently by Hallmark to premiere on its service Hallmark+ on October 31, blending festive cheer with crime-solving intrigue.
The story follows Emily Lane, portrayed by Grey’s Anatomy alum, as the owner of a quaint Christmas-themed shop in Fletcher’s Grove. Beneath her charming exterior, Emily harbors a sharp intellect and a knack for noticing details others overlook. When a series of local murders occurs, Emily’s investigative instincts kick in, drawing the attention of Detective Sam Wilner, played by Peter Mooney. Their chemistry, mixed with the holiday atmosphere, sets the tone for the show.
The cast also features Sierra Marilyn Riley, Jean Yoon, and Lara Amersey, with guest stars such as Tom Cavanagh and Jake Epstein. Adapted from the Audible Original series, Mistletoe Murders promises a blend of holiday warmth and suspenseful storytelling.
