The Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) 2024 kicked off, setting a new standard with record-breaking participation from around the world. This year’s TCCF highlights the potential of Taiwanese creative content on the global stage, connecting local talents with international buyers and resources.
With 600 project proposals from 50 countries, 101 exhibition booths, and over 300 professionals, media representatives, and buyers from 30 countries, the event emphasizes Taiwan’s expanding role in the international content industry. TCCF 2024 also features 30 high-profile speakers leading 15 discussions on industry trends, co-productions, and innovative IP strategies, attracting unprecedented attention to Taiwan’s creative sector.
The opening ceremony, held at the Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2, brought together leading figures including Taiwan’s Deputy Minister of Culture, Sue Wang; TAICCA Chairperson Homme Tsai; and other distinguished guests from the international community. In an impressive display symbolizing creative energy and cross-border collaboration, international representatives from France, Belgium, Chile, Malaysia, Japan, and the Philippines infused symbolic floating cubes with «creative energy,» culminating in a dazzling digital performance.
Chairperson Homme Tsai emphasized that the new venue marks an evolution for TCCF, aligning with a shift towards industry-driven and commercially viable content. «The investments and collaborations facilitated by TAICCA reflect the needs of Taiwan’s content industry as it expands internationally,» Tsai said.
Deputy Minister Sue Wang underscored Taiwan’s commitment to fostering talent capable of creating commercially successful content that appeals to global audiences. “Taiwan needs more commercially viable stories that resonate internationally, and we’re here to support the talent that brings them to life,” she added.
