New Travel and Wildlife Titles Lead the Slate

Sam Thompson, Global VP of Content Distribution at Insight TV, is leading a new strategic phase as the company approaches its tenth anniversary, reinforcing its dual identity as a premium content distributor and a fast-growing global channel group. With a footprint on over 50 platforms and reaching more than 400 million households worldwide, Insight TV continues to position itself as a one-stop partner for producers looking for international reach and multiple windows of exposure — including linear, digital, and FAST channels.
‘In many cases, we’re not just the distributor — we’re also the broadcaster. That makes us a highly effective partner for producers looking for global reach and a team that can land premium deals in the international marketplace,’ says Thompson.
A recent example of this approach is the factual series Dictators’ Hideouts, produced by Inbornmedia. The show was picked up by Insight TV’s INWONDER channel for the U.S. and Canadian markets, in addition to being offered for international distribution. As producer Maciej Pawelczyk noted, *‘Insight TV is not just our distributor — they’re also a channel group. It’s a one-stop shop in some respects, and it works well for us… and for *Dictators’ Hideouts.’

This hybrid model continues to bear fruit, with the return this summer of the long-running food travel series Maximum Foodie (10×30’, SD Media), now in its sixth season. Hosted by Sashi De, the show takes viewers on a vibrant culinary journey across Asia and the Indian Ocean, with locations including Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. The return of the series underscores both the global appetite for immersive food storytelling and the continued strength of Insight TV’s partnership with SD Media.
Also joining the catalogue is Bucket the Lion Cub (1×45’, Painted Dog TV), a powerful wildlife documentary filmed in South Africa’s Rietspruit Game Reserve. The film tells the true story of a lion cub adopted by three male lions after becoming separated from her mother. Filmmaker Brent Leo-Smith captures the emotional and suspenseful rescue operation. The title has been added to Insight TV’s INWILD channel and its global distribution slate.
Insight TV continues to evolve its editorial strategy, moving away from lifestyle-focused formats toward high-impact factual genres such as adventure, wildlife, travel, food, motorsports, and action sports. Backed by UHD production quality and strong international storytelling, the company offers content with wide global resonance.
As the lines between distributor, channel operator, and commissioning partner continue to blur, Insight TV stands out by offering a clear value proposition: a team that understands the power of premium storytelling — and knows how to get it seen.
