Great Movies arrives at MIPCOM 2025 highlighting a feature film slate that spans big-budget international animation, high-concept thrillers, and Western dramas. The selection reflects the distributor’s acquisition strategy of securing content with broad appeal across varying markets.

The company is showcasing the animated family adventure Moon the Panda. The film, a co-production including Gaumont and Umedia, tells the story of 12-year-old Tian, who is sent to the mysterious Chinese mountains where he befriends a panda he names Moon. This marks the beginning of an incredible adventure that promises to change both his and his family’s lives.
In the action and fantasy genres, Great Movies is distributing Ne Zha II. This animated sequel follows Ne Zha and Ao Bing after they survived a heavenly lightning strike by becoming Spirits. The film focuses on the obstacles that arise as Taiyi attempts to rebuild their mortal bodies with the Seven-colored Precious Lotus, leaving the fate of the two characters uncertain.

The slate also includes two distinct thrillers. The 2024 film Noise (1h 33m) is a horror-mystery that centers on Joo-young, a hearing-impaired woman, whose sister goes missing shortly after Joo-young moves to a new apartment. While investigating the disappearance, Joo-young suspects the mystery is connected to unbearable and strange noises emanating from her neighbor’s space, leading to horrifying incidents. In contrast, The Unholy Trinity (1h 35m) is a Western set in 1870s Montana. The film focuses on Henry, who is tasked by his estranged father, Isaac Broadway, to murder the man who framed him just moments before his execution. Henry’s subsequent journey to the remote town of Trinity finds him caught between the new sheriff and a mysterious figure named St. Christopher.
