Yes Studios arrives at MIPCOM with a strong comedy slate, following recent drama launches such as Embassy Down and Wonder. The distributor is presenting two new titles, Little Fucker and Canteen Commando, alongside the anticipated second season of Bloody Murray. All are available as completed series or scripted formats.
Little Fucker (7×30), from Ariel Waysman and Niv Majar, is a biting coming-of-age comedy produced by Tedy TV for yes TV. It follows 12-year-old Shay, who blackmails his vain father after discovering his affair, sparking a hilariously toxic father-son rivalry.
Canteen Commando (8×35), created by Eran Zarahovich with Moish Goldberg and Ilan Shefler, is produced by yes TV and Yoav Gross Productions. It explores the absurdities of military life through the lens of a timid recruit forced to serve under his estranged father, a blustering sergeant.
Meanwhile, Bloody Murray (9×25), winner of Best Comedy at Series Mania 2022, returns with its witty take on female friendship. Created by Stav Idisis and produced by yes TV and Kastina Communications, season two follows Murray and Dana as they juggle professional success with the pressures of aging and motherhood.
