Tesera Entertainment, the distribution company founded by industry veteran Gene George, is presenting a slate of feature-length films at MIPCOM 2025, emphasizing high-volume holiday programming and true-crime content. The company’s offering features titles originating from prominent U.S. networks like UPtv, Lifetime, and Hallmark.

The slate is notably rich in Christmas-themed movies, three of which are romantic dramas. A Royal Christmas Hope follows widowed Julia, who runs a holiday charity in NYC, as she meets Prince Christopher, who is escaping his royal duties to find purpose—and love—in America. Another regal romance, A Royal Christmas Manor, centers on Prince Alexander of Fredonia, who uses a false identity to stay at a struggling inn in America for Christmas and falls for the owner, Katie. The theme continues with A Royal Christmas Tail, where a woman who runs an animal rescue meets a prince who has a plan to save both the shelter and her heart during the holidays. Balancing the holiday romance is the suspense film A Christmas Murder Mystery, in which puzzle editor Vera Vexley and Deputy Neal must unmask a killer among greedy heirs and secretive guests after the wealthy Harold is poisoned.
Moving beyond the holidays, Tesera is featuring the romantic drama Double Scoop, where former ad agency dream team Nora and James become frosty rivals, competing for a small-town dairy farm client that produces highly acclaimed ice cream.

The distributor is also highlighting the true-crime event movie Kidnapped by a Killer: The Heather Robinson Story. Starring Steve Guttenberg and Jana Kramer, the film recounts the harrowing true story of fifteen-year-old Heather Robinson, whose life is shattered when the man she knew as her uncle, John Robinson, is arrested for the murders of multiple women, including her biological mother.
