Banijay Kids & Family, the global powerhouse behind Totally Spies! and Mr Bean: The Animated Series, announced new international sales for Once Upon a Time…, the classic educational franchise from Procidis.
The latest instalment, Once Upon a Time… The Objects (season eight), continues its worldwide rollout with new partners including Puls 2’s Puls Kids (Poland), Minika GO (Turkey), TFO (Canada), and Radio Television Hong Kong.
Earlier seasons also remain in high demand. AMC Networks International CNE has acquired Life (season three) and Planet Earth (season seven) for multiple Eastern European markets, while SF Studios picked up Life for Norway and Sweden.
Cécile Cau, SVP sales, coproductions and acquisitions at Banijay Kids & Family, said: ‘Once Upon a Time… continues to transcend generations and borders. Its educational and emotional resonance has stood the test of time, inspiring curiosity in children and nostalgia in adults alike’.
Created by Albert Barillé in 1978, the franchise has been a fixture of French television for nearly five decades. Produced by Procidis and distributed globally by Banijay Kids & Family Distribution, the series remains a benchmark in animated edutainment, combining storytelling and science in a timeless way.
