GMA Network, marking its 75th anniversary, has reaffirmed its leadership across Philippine media platforms—television, radio, and digital—while simultaneously establishing itself as a key global digital content provider. The company attributes its success to a consistent focus on Filipino storytelling and a strategic expansion into the digital space.
Digital reach and global ranking

The company secured the No. 20 spot in the Tubular Leadership Worldwide Ranking for September 2025, positioning it as the highest-ranking Philippine media company globally. The network’s official social media properties generated over 7.5 billion video views in September alone. These views were primarily driven by Facebook (3.37 billion) and TikTok (2.91 billion), with YouTube adding 1.05 billion and Instagram contributing 203 million.
For the period of January to July 2025, GMA Network led with over 20 billion video views across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, surpassing ABS-CBN‘s 16 billion. Furthermore, GMANetwork.com ranked as the country’s top news and information platform, according to Similarweb data from July 2025. The network also outpaced its closest competitor, ABS-CBN, in engagements on both X and Instagram as of August 26.
TV and programming supremacy
The media company maintains the widest reach in the Philippines, operating a total of 115 TV stations and 21 radio stations.
In television viewing, GMA, along with GTV and its digital channels (I Heart Movies and Heart of Asia), achieved a combined people net reach of 85.2%, totaling more than 61 million viewers in the Total Philippines. They alone reached 83.8% of viewers nationwide (60 million Filipinos) and was the top channel, capturing a 40.8% audience share in Total Philippines.
The network dominated the programming lists, securing 27 out of the top 30 programs nationwide. Top programs included Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, 24 Oras, and Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.
Radio leadership
GMA’s flagship radio stations retained their audience dominance in Mega Manila airwaves. Super Radyo DZBB 594 kHz recorded a 39.9 percent audience share, significantly outperforming its closest competitor. Barangay LS 97.1 Forever! secured a considerable lead with a 45.5 % audience share.
