Inter Medya is attending the ATF in Singapore with a slate of new Turkish dramas, highlighting Halef, Eshref Ruya, and Boardroom to Bedroom as its key offerings for the Asian market.
The lineup features Halef, a drama centered on Serhat, a man who is forced to return to his hometown shortly after secretly marrying the woman he loves. Pelin Koray, Senior Sales, Acquisition, and Strategy Manager at Inter Medya, explained the central conflict: ‘He comes back for his father’s illness, but an old promise made to end a blood feud forces him into a second, religious marriage with Yıldız’.
In the crime-romance genre, the distributor is presenting Eshref Ruya. The story follows Eshref, a top member of an Istanbul mafia syndicate, who intervenes to protect Nisan, a band’s lead singer, when tensions flair during a wedding at his luxury hotel. ‘He does not realize that the woman he is falling in love with is the same one he has searched for since childhood’, said Koray regarding the plot’s underlying mystery.
Rounding out the selection is Boardroom to Bedroom, a series that blends corporate intrigue with romance. The narrative follows Murat, a successful executive based in London, who returns to Istanbul to take over his family’s company, only to find Azra already installed as the CEO. The plot details how the two must navigate scandal and blackmail to work side by side as partners in both business and love, rather than as rivals.
