MIP London once again brings together major buyers

With attendance already exceeding 1.300 delegates and more than 600 confirmed international buyers, MIP London 2026 is establishing itself as one of the must-attend events on the audiovisual calendar. From February 22nd to 24th, the IET London and the Savoy Hotel will once again bring together executives from Amazon, Netflix, Disney, BBC, Warner Bros. Discovery, and ZDF, in an edition marked by the intersection of business, data, and new narratives.

Under the slogan “Joining the Dots: Finding the Value”, the market reinforces its B2B profile with an agenda that combines factual, documentary, creator economy, and emerging formats. Sunday 22nd will open with an expanded version of the Doc and Factual Co-Production Summit, in a roundtable format, with leading figures such as Mikael Osterby (SVT), Kristina Hollstein (ZDF Studios), Gerrit Kemming (Quintus Studios), and Becky Gardner (LADbible Group), curated by Natalie Humphreys.

One of the highlights of the factual program will be the showcase of the documentary Greenwashed on Monday, May 23th, accompanied by a Q&A session with conservationist Chris Packham and filmmaker Sofía Pineda Ochoa. The proposal dialogues with another strong focus of the event: market analysis, with presentations by Guy Bisson (Ampere Analysis) and Beatrice Rossmanith (Mothership Media Consultancy) on trends, growth, and survival of the genre.

At the same time, MIP London is doubling down on the creator economy. YouTube, Goalhanger, and Sidemen Productions will headline the keynotes, while the rise of podcasts, sports on FAST/AVOD platforms, and vertical microdrama round out a program designed to gauge where the business is headed. With the London Screenings as its immediate neighbor, London is once again playing a strong role as a global meeting point for buyers, producers, and platforms.
