The distributor is betting heavily on the global appetite for true crime, headlining its non-scripted slate with high-profile investigations into sports scandals and aviation tragedies, alongside successful scripted formats available for local adaptation.
Leading the documentary lineup is The Robinho Case (El Caso Robinho), a four-part series (4×30’) that examines the fall of the former football star. The documentary delves into the 2014 gang rape accusation in Milan that led to his conviction. Featuring wiretap audio provided by the Italian Justice Department and exclusive interviews, the series chronicles the decade-long legal battle that culminated in his arrest in Brazil.
Complementing this is The Evandro Case: A Devilish Plot (El Caso Evandro – Una Trama Diabolica), an 8-episode docuseries (8x1h) that revisits the 1992 disappearance of a six-year-old boy in a small Brazilian town.
