Series Mania Forum 2026: Seriella presents long-form biblical dramas

Faith-based content producer Seriella Productions is attending Series Mania Forum 2026, bringing a slate of historical and biblical dramas to the international market. The company, which focuses on producing audiovisual content rooted in biblical texts and the Gospel, is targeting global buyers with a lineup that expands traditional religious narratives into long-form serialized television. Representing the company at the European market will be Natan Oletto, Commercial Projects and Acquisitions Coordinator.

Seriella scheduled showcase three primary titles at the event, leading with the 30-episode historical drama The Queen of Persia (30×60’). The series adapts the biblical story of Esther, following Hadassah, a young Jewish woman who conceals her identity and eventually becomes the new Queen of Persia after being taken to the harem of King Xerxes. The narrative centers on her navigation of royal court intrigues and her efforts to use her newly acquired position to save the Jewish people from an impending political conspiracy.

Also on the company’s slate is Paul – The Apostle, a 50-episode (50×45’) series chronicling the life of Saul of Tarsus. The plot tracks his background as a zealous young Pharisee, his unexpected conversion, and his subsequent transformation into the Apostle Paul. By focusing on his inner conflicts, the persecution he faced, and his central role in the spread of early Christianity, the series frames his historical journey through a lens of spiritual and political battles.

Rounding out the presentation is The Life of Job (20×55’). Based on the biblical Book of Job, the series follows the story of a prosperous and righteous man living in the land of Uz whose faith is severely tested after he is subjected to a series of devastating personal and financial losses. According to the producers, the 20-episode project expands upon the original text by incorporating additional elements of family drama, romance, and action into the protagonist’s struggle.
