Globo is taking part in the first edition of Content Europe in Lisbon with a clear objective: to strengthen its presence in the European market and establish itself as a strategic partner for a range of business models. Through its EMEA Business Hub, the company aims to forge closer ties with key players and boost the international distribution of its content.
As part of its agenda, on the 21st at 6pm it will host the event “Showcase & Cocktail: Premium Content. Global Impact”, where it will present its main titles and explore new commercial opportunities.
“It is a vital opportunity to strengthen partnerships and showcase the strength of our creative ecosystem,” said Rodrigo Nascimento, Head of Business Development and Sales – EMEA. The executive highlighted a portfolio that combines classic melodrama, Globoplay originals and high-engagement formats.
Highlights include the telenovelas Three Graces and Anything Goes, the latter reaching 150 million viewers in Brazil. Among the series, Emergency 53 —which won an award at the Berlinale Series Market— stands out, along with the thriller Perfect Days and titles such as The Others.
The offering is rounded off with micro-dramas, adaptable formats and unscripted content, reinforcing Globo’s ambition to expand its stories to new audiences and screens.
