The TAICCA-organized market introduces a restructured prize pool exceeding TWD 10 million and highlights Taiwan’s growing role in Asian cross-border content development.

The Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) announced its 2026 Pitching selections, revealing that over 60% of the featured projects are international co-productions led by or involving Taiwanese companies. The event, organized by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), reflects a shift toward cross-border financing and development in the APAC region, particularly through partnerships with South Korea and Japan.
To support early-stage development and mitigate initial risks for international investors, TCCF has updated its funding structure. The market will now feature four main pitching sessions, each offering a major prize of at least USD 30,000. Additionally, selected projects qualify for TAICCA’s Creative Content Development Program (CCDP), which provides up to TWD 3 million for early development stages to accelerate market readiness.
The content slate emphasizes the adaptation of original IPs into film and television formats. Feature films such as A Sketch in Scarlet and the series Leaf and Tree are transitioning from literary works previously showcased at TCCF into screen development. The fiction lineup illustrates direct integration between Asian and Western production companies, featuring My Cringe Love Notebook, co-developed by South Korea’s CJ ENM and Taiwan’s YOOSONN Entertainment; UFO Club, led by Japan’s K2 Pictures; and the US-Taiwan action series Bang & Burn, produced by Gina Torres.

In the animation and documentary verticals, projects are similarly structured for global distribution. The animated title Achugogo: Tale of the Spring Chaser involves creatives with Marvel and Toei Animation experience, while the documentary Parachute Kids is directed by Academy Award nominee S. Leo Chiang.
TCCF 2026 will take place from November 6 to 9 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. The market aims to serve as a hub for regional creators to secure co-production agreements, pre-sales, and global distribution deals.
