The Spanish Joana and Mireia Vilapuig created and directed Selftape, their first TV series produced by Filmax, which will premiere on OTT Filmin next April. The production is one of the titles that Filmax is highlighting in the markets this season.
In addition to creating and directing, the duo stars in the youth drama that premiered at the recent edition of the Malaga Festival.
The series has 6 episodes of 30 minutes each and is filmed in Catalan and Spanish, and also has Bárbara Farré directing, and Iván Mercadé, Carlos Robisco and Clara Esparrach on the writing side.

The story of the series follows the sisters Joana and Mireia, two young actresses who knew success, and all that fame entails, at a very young age. Years later, Mireia returns to Barcelona after succeeding as an actress in Oslo. The cold reception of her sister Joana from her is not what was expected. Unable to communicate and fix things, everything turns upside down when Mireia is offered a role that Joana had to play.
